JANET REGAN

Janet has been part of the ELA since January. Before joining ELA she worked with other Training Providers, taught in FE Colleges and has also been a Practitioner. Her area of specialism is creativity and problem solving. What she likes most about the job is seeing Learners percentages rise on their portfolio after periods of static.

The quality that she is known for is speaking the truth and having a ‘readable’ face.

Her funniest moment in assessing is when a child she had never seen before insisted on calling her Granny, repeatedly.

Her most memorable time from her school days was when one evening she went in her Art teachers car to the Tate, to watch an Andy Warhol film. It was the 70’s!

If she had to put what assessing and training means to her in 3 words, those words would be:

Opportunities, Varied, Rewarding.

Or ‘Worth the grief’

A fun fact about her is that she LOVES a game/quiz, the dafter the better. Individual, team, board, competitive, active, she’s there. She went away for a significant birthday with a house of friends, best bit a friend had written a quiz based on her. IT WAS BRILL.
